Ann Arbor— Shopping mall mogul A. Alfred Taubman has donated another $56 million to the University of Michigan, making him the largest donor in the university's history, officials announced today. The money will be used primarily for stem cell research but also for research in heart disease, prostate cancer, Alzheimer's disease and diabetes.
