Dicerna Pharmaceuticals, a Watertown biotech firm that held the first and largest initial public offering of any such firm in Massachusetts so far this year, is doubling its footprint and moving to Cambridge.
According to a federal filing, the company signed a lease for a 37,200-square-foot office and laboratory space at 87 CambridgePark Drive in Cambridge. The building is the site of the former Pfizer building near Alewife. The six-year lease begins in December, or when the building’s owner, an entity managed by King Street Properties in Waltham, completes work on the space. The average monthly rent will be $134,000, according to the filing.
