Three Healthcare Companies Receive Medline Industries, Inc. Preferred Vendor Recognition Award

MUNDELEIN, IL--(Marketwire - May 13, 2011) - Medline Industries, Inc. announced today the recipients of its 2010 Preferred Vendor Recognition Awards. Selected by a panel of executives from Medline, the Preferred Vendor Awards were given to three Medline partners who not only demonstrated outstanding performance in sales and operations but also have collaborated as a true partner in Medline’s initiatives and in achieving mutual goals.

The following companies were honored at Medline’s 2011 National Meeting and Sales Conference in Chicago, Ill.:

• Rookie Vendor of the Year: Rice Lake Weighing Systems was recognized for their support and assisting Medline’s growth in the scale marketplace.

• Sales Merit Award: Link Medical was honored for demonstrated a strong commitment to sales and marketing excellence.

• Sales Merit Award: Covidien Kendall was recognized for showing outstanding sales growth over the prior year while maintaining and creating unique programs to successfully win business.
