Tokyo, Apr 20, 2006 (JCN) - Sysmex announced on April 19 that it has established a wholly owned subsidiary in the Republic of South Africa in order to enhance its customer and agency services in southeastern Africa. Sysmex South Africa hopes to slow the spread of HIV/ AIDS in the region by introducing a simple and inexpensive method of measuring CD4-positive cell counts.
