LEXINGTON, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Synta Pharmaceuticals Corp. (NASDAQ: SNTA) today announced the grant of inducement awards to its newly appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Chen Schor, and its newly appointed Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Marc Schneebaum. The awards were approved by the Board’s Compensation Committee and ratified by the full Board on December 1, 2014 as an inducement material to Mr. Schor and Mr. Schneebaum entering into employment with the Company in accordance with NASDAQ Listing Rule 5635(c)(4). Both awards were approved subject to each officer’s commencement of employment with the Company on December 8, 2014.
