Sucampo Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ: SCMP) (SPI) today reported its consolidated financial results for the quarter ended March 31, 2011. Sucampo reported a net loss of $6.9 million, or $0.17 per diluted share, for the first quarter of 2011, compared to a net income of $1.8 million, or $0.04 per diluted share, in the same period in 2010.
