St. Jude Medical’s Peripheral Nerve Stimulation Study Confirms Benefit for Chronic Migraine Patients

ST. PAUL, Minn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--St. Jude Medical, Inc. (NYSE:STJ), a global medical device company, today announced publication of results from the first large-scale study of peripheral nerve stimulation (PNS) of the occipital nerves in patients suffering from chronic migraine. The study results, published online by Cephalalgia the journal of the International Headache Society, show a significant reduction in pain, headache days and migraine-related disability.
