LOGAN, Utah, Aug. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Facet Solutions, Inc., a medical device company focused on developing and commercializing spinal implants for the rapidly growing posterior lumbar motion preservation market, announced today that they have moved into their new corporate headquarters in Logan, Utah. The completion of the new state of the art facility provides the company with the infrastructure to achieve its strategic plan of bringing spine motion preservation devices to market.
Facet Solutions has developed the Anatomic Facet Replacement System (AFRS(TM)), the first anatomic facet arthroplasty device designed to provide lumbar spinal stenosis and facet degeneration patients with a motion preserving alternative to fusion. Currently, the company is involved in a FDA approved Investigational Device Exemption (IDE) clinical study in the United States for the Anatomic Facet Replacement System (AFRS(TM)).
“Our new facility, combined with our world class team, will allow us to continue our aggressive efforts to provide spine motion preservation alternatives to patients,” stated Alan Chervitz, President and CEO of Facet Solutions, Inc. “This move marks another significant milestone in the evolution of Facet Solutions, and we are confident that the AFRS(TM) will provide benefit to patients who suffer from lower back and leg pain.”
The Facet Solutions AFRS(TM) implants are anatomically designed and utilize conventional pedicle screw fixation. The implants are placed with precision instrumentation that creates reliable and reproducible results. The benefit of anatomic design and precision instrumentation makes the AFRS(TM) the ultimate in motion preservation solutions; allowing surgeons to provide patients with pain relief while restoring natural motion and stability at the effected lumbar level.
Facet Solutions invites patients, clinicians, medical facilities, and other interested parties to contact Facet Solutions for specific information about the U.S. IDE Clinical Trial for the Anatomic Facet Replacement System (AFRS(TM)).
*Note: AFRS(TM) is an investigational device in the United States. It is limited by United States (U.S.) Federal Law for investigational use only.
