(San Diego, CA, Sept. 25, 2012) Specialty pharmaceutical management consulting firm Viscadia Inc. recently hired Abheek Sambyal as a Managing Consultant. Sambyal has nearly 10 years of analytical experience predominantly in the pharmaceutical industry, having worked closely with senior executives and clients in the health and life science industries.
As a Managing Consultant, Sambyal will support Viscadia’s clients by analyzing their business performance, as well as optimize the execution of their commercial strategies. Sambyal’s areas of expertise include segmentation and targeting; forecasting; promotion mix modeling; sales force size and structure analysis; call plan design; incentive compensation design; launch optimization and performance tracking.
Prior to joining Viscadia, Sambyal worked with such clients as Abbott Laboratories, Baxter Healthcare, Abbott Vascular and IMS Health. He started his career as a financial analyst with Capital One before joining the world’s largest pure-play analytical consulting company, Mu Sigma, Inc.

Sambyal earned his MBA from E. Philip Saunders College of Business at Rochester Institute of Technology and a BE from Siva Subramania Nadar College of Engineering in Chennai, India.
