Recent third party tests conducted under ASTM E2180 on a specially formulated pure polyurea system from VersaFlex, GelFlex 1115-FR, have proven to reduce listeria monocytogenes growth by over 99% and Escherichia coli growth by over 96%.
GelFlex 1115-FR is a superior coating material designed specifically for industrial applications that are constantly under attack by microorganisms and harsh chemicals. It provides a high gloss finish that is approved by both the USDA, FDA, and FSIS.
VersaFlex GelFlex 1115-FR is a 100% solids, zero VOC, UV color stable, aliphatic polyurea coating system developed for commercial and industrial applications requiring high inhibition of microbial growth. The protective coating is abrasion resistant and has a very fast set/cure time that allows it be returned to service within minutes after application. This makes GelFlex 1115-FR ideal for use in food processing and manufacturing facilities that require fast turnaround and minimal disruption to production.
