Sanofi Pasteur MSD, the joint venture between Sanofi-Aventis vaccine unit Sanofi Pasteur and Merck & Co Inc, said it has received a positive opinion from the European Medicines Agency (EMEA) on the marketing of its Gardasil treatment to prevent cervical cancer and cervical and vulvar or vaginal lesions.
