Roche is cutting jobs but others are hiring! Check it out! (Isn’t it tempting?)
This month, Roche began the process of closing its wholly-owned subsidiary 454 Life Sciences, a once-dominant player in next-generation sequencing, and laying off the company’s 130 employees. Manufacturing of 454 sequencers will continue through 2015, and the sequencers will continue to be serviced through mid-2016; the layoffs will be phased over this period.
Don’t forget, hundreds of biopharma companies are hiring! (We know you can’t resist.)
