Novartis (NYSE: NVS) is lower in early trading following news that Roche (OTCBB: RHHBY) CEO Severin Schwan said the company is open to renewed talks, according to the Financial Times Roche said Severin’s comments were meant for R&D versus an M&A transaction. He commented, “If the right opportunity comes up, we would be extremely open to talk with Novartis as we would be with all the other players.”
