SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., Oct. 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Renovis, Inc. announced today that it has filed a universal shelf registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) that, upon being declared effective by the SEC, will allow Renovis to sell from time to time up to $150 million of its common stock, preferred stock, debt securities and warrants. The company does not have any present plans for an offering off of this shelf registration statement. The terms of any offering will be established at the time of the offering. Proceeds from the sale of any securities will be used for the purposes described in a prospectus or prospectus supplement filed at the time of an offering.
The registration statement relating to the securities has been filed with the SEC, but has not yet become effective.
