VALLEJO, Calif., Aug. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Earlier today Sutter Solano nurses voted to approve the final contract offer presented by Sutter Solano Medical Center earlier this week. Approval of the contract comes on the heels of months of productive negotiations followed by three days of intense sessions on August 15, 16 and 17.
"We greatly value our RN staff and are proud of the serious and constructive proposals we were able to put on the table to address issues such as wages and benefits, nurse staffing ratios, scheduling guarantees and other issues of importance to our nurses," said Terry Glubka, CEO, Sutter Solano.
Under Sutter Solano's contract offer, RNs receive extremely competitive annual salaries, fully paid health benefits, generous contributions to their retirement accounts, and a retiree healthcare spending account. Specific highlights of the offer include:

"We are pleased we were able to reach agreement on significant economic and workplace enhancements for our nurses. We look forward to our valued nurses realizing the immediate benefits and continuing to provide the quality care our patients at Sutter Solano have grown to expect," concluded Glubka.
