SFGate -- While Swiss drug giant Roche mulls whether to raise its offer price for biotechnology powerhouse Genentech, many prized Genentech professionals are also calculating what Roche would have to offer them to stay on after the takeover. It’s the talk of the party circuit and the South San Francisco labs where Genentech employees learned last month that majority owner Roche wanted full control, said Rodney Ferguson, a former Genentech attorney who keeps in touch with former colleagues.
