SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--PURE Bioscience (OTCBB:PURE) today announced that the United States Patent and Trademark Office issued patent number 7,261,905 on August 28, 2007, which covers PURE’s process of manufacturing complexes of electrolytically generated stabilized ionic silver with other organic acids, specifically identifying 14 new complexes. The new patent expands the scope of protection of PURE’s core technology patent, US Patent 6,197,814, for the composition and method of making of PURE’s silver dihydrogen citrate (SDC) antimicrobial.
