(“Proxy Governance”), an independent proxy advisory firm, has joined RiskMetrics Group’s ISS Proxy Advisory Services (“ISS”), in recommending that Symyx’s stockholders vote “FOR” the proposed merger with Accelrys, Inc. (NASDAQ: ACCL) (“Accelrys”) at the company’s June 30, 2010 Special Meeting of Stockholders. Stockholders of record as of the close of business on May 14, 2010 will be entitled to vote at the meeting.
