New Scientist -- A diagnosis of early stage breast cancer is a terrifying experience, but less than 25% of women actually go on and develop an invasive tumor. Researchers have now identified a set of molecular markers that should allow them to test whether ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS), or “stage zero breast cancer”, will develop into an invasive tumor.
