Through this sponsorship program, Prilosec OTC will provide eligible consumers with an opportunity to receive support for their individual passions.

People can apply for a chance for sponsorship in one of fifteen categories, which range from Health & Fitness, to Community Service, to Arts & Crafts among others. To apply consumers can visit www.officialsponsor.com, create a profile and fill out the sponsorship application. The application process includes the option to upload pictures or videos to express who they are and what they love to do. If selected, Prilosec OTC will provide an average of $1,000 worth of resources to help take their passions to the next level.
The public will have a chance to view every applicant’s online profile and vote for their favorites. These votes, along with input from a review panel, will help identify the consumers who will be sponsored. The application deadline for the initial round of sponsorships is February 22, 2010 and those chosen for sponsorship will be announced on or around March 19, 2010. A second round of sponsorships will be conducted shortly after.

About the “Official Sponsor of Everything You Do Without Heartburn” Program
To apply for a chance at sponsorship, consumers must fill out an application on www.officialsponsor.com and select one of 15 categories to enter. Online profiles with pictures and videos can be created for each applicant. The public will have a chance to vote for their favorite profile. Sponsorship awards will be determined by a dedicated review panel and will be based on a series of criteria as well as the quantity of votes. Voting is limited to one vote per e-mail address per day.
The sponsorship is a promotional contest that invites eligible consumers to describe their passions for a chance to win. Those selected for sponsorship will get an “Official” title, be featured prominently on the program’s Web site, and receive an average of $1,000 worth of resources to help take their passions to the next level.
