PerkinElmer Inc. reports it has acquired the proprietary proteomics technology of Agilix Corp. of Woodbridge, Conn. Agilix has developed a labeling technology using isobaric mass tags that allows for the simultaneous quantification of molecules, such as proteins, from multiple samples. Financial terms of the deal were not released.
