BETHLEHEM, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--OraSure Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ:OSUR) announced today the commercial launch of the first cryosurgical wart removal product in the over-the-counter (“OTC”) or consumer retail market in Mexico. The product will be manufactured by OraSure for its Mexican distributor, Producciones Infovision, S.A. de C.V. The product will be sold under the POINTTS tradename by Producciones Infovision’s affiliate, Genomma Lab, to more than 20,000 pharmacies and retailers throughout Mexico, beginning in March 2007.
