FRANKLINTON, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Thomas Nagy, president of Novozymes North America, Inc. since 2004, has been voted the new chairman of the 17-member Industrial and Environmental Section Governing Body of the Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO), succeeding Alan Shaw, president and CEO of Codexis. The selection confirms Nagy’s seat on the 2007-2008 BIO Board of Directors. Elections were held recently as part of the 15th annual BIO International Convention held in Boston, Mass.
