The new shares issued in accordance with the resolution passed by the Board of Directors of Biotie Therapies Corp. (“Company”) on 2 January 2014 have been registered with the Trade Register today on 8 January 2014. A total of 3,321,660 new shares (“Treasury Shares”) were issued to the Company itself without consideration for the purposes of being conveyed to employees entitled to them pursuant to the terms and conditions of the Stock Option Plan 2011 and the Equity Incentive Plan 2011 (“Plans”).
