Launched by the Mental Health Foundation in collaboration with the University of Bristol, the new app called ‘HappyPlace’ helps people cope with low moods and also assists in altering the cognitive processes that play a vital role in mental health. “Depression and low mood make people see the world, and interpret social situations, differently......Our pioneering, research-based emotion recognition training program teaches people to see positive emotions in faces instead of negative emotions,” Marcus Munafo, Professor of Biological Psychology at Bristol, said in a statement.
