CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation raised $750,000 to advance research and drug development in the field of multiple myeloma, an incurable blood cancer, at the 7th annual Chicago Awards Dinner. More than 500 local business executives joined the MMRF and Connie L. Lindsey, Executive Vice President Northern Trust Corporation and Corporate Chair of the event, on April 23, 2008, at the Four Seasons Hotel.
