Mobiles Harm DNA, Study Claims

MOBILE phone users are being urged to keep calls short and use hands-free sets after a study revealed using them may damage human DNA.The research shows radiation from mobiles harms body cells and damages DNA in laboratories. Scientists said more research was needed to test whether the effect was replicated outside the lab. Dr Bruce Hocking, a Victorian specialist in occupational and environmental medicine, said mobile users should keep calls short.
