The award-winning MichBio member companies are:

Other bioscience companies recognized included Ideomed (Grand Rapids), a chronic disease management company; Nobis Agri Science (Plainwell), a manufacturer of customized nutritional programs; Sentio LLC (Southfield), creator of a proprietary nerve mapping technology that aids in spinal cord surgery; and Uckele Health & Nutrition Inc. (Blissfield), a nutrition company that uses proven, progressive advances in science to provide the highest quality nutritional programs and supplements. In addition, RealBio Technology, Inc., of Kalamazoo – a company focused on commercializing a disruptive tissue culture technology that supports the growth, expansion, differentiation and collection of human and non-human cells – was honored with the Innovation Award.

Michigan 50 Companies to Watch is an awards program that discovers and celebrates the second-stage companies that make an impact in their markets, in their communities and in the state. The awards are presented by Michigan Celebrates Small Business and its founding organizations: the Michigan Economic Development Corporation, the Small Business Association of Michigan, the Michigan Small Business & Technology Development Center, the U.S. Small Business Administration, the Greater Lansing Business Monthly, and the Edward Lowe Foundation.
