MethylGene to Present MGCD265 Data at the American Association for Cancer Research Annual Meeting

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - April 16, 2010) - MethylGene Inc. (TSX: MYG) today announced that there will be two poster presentations describing preclinical data for MGCD265, its proprietary multi-targeted kinase (Met) inhibitor, at the AACR 101st Annual Meeting to be held in Washington, DC from April 17 to 21, 2010. The first abstract (No. 3612) will highlight MGCD265’s in vitro and in vivo antitumor activity when combined with Tarceva®, including against EGFR-resistant tumors. The second abstract (No. 3609) will demonstrate the inhibitory effects of the compound on a spectrum of clinically relevant Met mutants.
