Baltimore Business Journal -- MedImmune LLC, the biologics arm of drug manufacturing giant AstraZeneca PLC, has 184 job openings in Maryland posted on its careers site.
The biotech is looking to fill positions at its headquarters in Gaithersburg and its Frederick location.
Open jobs include administrative, clinical, communications and public relations positions. There’s also openings for biochemistry, engineering, manufacturing, cell culture, IT, legal and marketing jobs in both locations.
MedImmune was one of five companies nationwide to supply vaccines during the swine flu outbreak. The company produces Synagis, used to treat respiratory infections in infants, and says it boasts “an advancing pipeline of promising drug candidates.”
