Oct. 9 (Bloomberg) -- Mediceo Paltac Holdings Co. and Alfresa Holdings Corp., Japan's two largest drug wholesalers, are considering a tie-up valued at about 538 billion yen ($5.3 billion) to shield profits from government-mandated price cuts.
