LINKÖPING, Sweden--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Dutch hospital Onze Lieve Vrouwe Gasthuis in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, has selected Sectra (STO:SECTB) as its IT and medical technology partner. The order comprises Sectra’s solution for handling and archiving radiology images (PACS). With this investment, the hospital will benefit from transparent and secure access to images and patient information throughout the patient care pathway. In total, Dutch hospitals using Sectra PACS perform around five million radiology examinations each year. This means that Sectra’s system handles about 35% of all radiology examinations conducted in the Netherlands, making Sectra the market leader in the Dutch PACS market.
