Life Spine Announces Initial Cases With Narrow Width Offerings of the PROLIFT® Expandable Spacer System

The PROLIFT Expandable Spacer System is now available in width options from 8mm to 12mm and multiple height options that offer up to 6mm of continuous expansion.

HUNTLEY, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Life Spine, a medical device company that designs, develops, manufactures and markets products for the surgical treatment of spinal disorders, announced initial surgeries and multiple cases with the new narrow width offerings of the PROLIFT Expandable Spacer System.

The PROLIFT Expandable Spacer System is now available in width options from 8mm to 12mm and multiple height options that offer up to 6mm of continuous expansion. Additionally, the implant is available in four lordotic options to achieve sagittal correction. The implant was designed to support osteointegration with a proprietary surface technology called OSSEO-LOC which offers 400-600 microns of porosity.1

The expandable interbody market currently accounts for over 30% of the total interbody device market as of 2018, by 2025 it is expected that expandable interbodies will make up nearly half of the interbody device market.2
