(NYSE: KCI) today announced that V.A.C.® Therapy will remain available for Medicare patients in the home as a result of the Medicare Improvements for Patients and Providers Act of 2008, which was enacted into law by Congress on July 15, 2008. The Act delays and significantly modifies the Competitive Bidding Program of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
