NORTHVALE, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Ivivi Technologies, Inc.’s (AMEX: II) non-invasive, pulsed electromagnetic field (PEMF) technology increased tensile strength in a standard wound model in rats by 59% after 21 days, researchers reported in the August 2007 journal of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. The study was conducted at the Montefiore Medical Center, in The Teaching Hospital of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. PEMF signals have accelerated the physiological processes involved in healing in multiple clinical studies.
