He developed the ICE PIPE to offer a convenient way to keep arterial blood gas (ABG) syringe sampling cold. The unit keeps ABG cold while running it through the analyzer. It maintains or increases the stability of ABG. The design eliminates the need for ice. Additionally, it provides added convenience and is easy to use. The invention can be used by a phlebotomist for lactic blood draws. It may be open-ended or one end closed. The original design was submitted to the San Diego sales office of InventHelp.
