YUCAIPA, Calif., Sept. 18, 2008 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Ingen Technologies, Inc. (Other OTC:ITEC.PK - News), an emerging medical device manufacturer within the $4-Billion respiratory device market, announced today that it has recently signed a 3 year distribution agreement with MacNicol & Associates, Inc. in Toronto, Canada for the distribution of Oxyview(r) and OxyAlert(r) products.

The Canadian Thoracic Society’s (CTS) COPD Guidelines Dissemination and Implementation (D&I) committee has recently initiated a five year plan to promote the COPD Guidelines and its key messages. Canada continues their efforts to raise awareness within the health care community of the existence of the COPD Guidelines with the objective of improving the treatment and management of COPD in Canada. Ingen is working to introduce Oxyview(r) and OxyAlert(r) into the Canadian markets during this time when COPD is a major concern.
