(NASDAQ:ILMN) today launched an advanced high-throughput screening (HTS) array format that significantly increases the number of samples that can be processed on the Infinium® BeadChip family of genotyping arrays. Illumina’s Infinium assay leverages proven chemistries on a new 24-sample HTS BeadChip that supports up to 750,000 markers per sample and increases scanning capacity by up to three-fold.
