(NASDAQ: ILMN), the global leader in sequencing and array-based technologies, today announced the newest addition to its industry-leading next-generation sequencing (NGS) portfolio with the launch of the MiniSeq Sequencing System. During its presentation at the J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference, Illumina also introduced Infinium XT, and previewed Project Firefly, which will lead to the commercialization of a new semiconductor-based sequencing system.
