Award winners will be announced at a ceremony in London on November 3rd.
ICON is a finalist in the best CRO category and the company’s Medical Imaging division was shortlisted in the best technological development in clinical trials category for its MIRA platform. Two ICON teams were also shortlisted for the clinical research team of the year category, for projects that involved the development of a H1N1 vaccine in Mexico during the pandemic and the unexpected, rapid closure of selective populations participating in a large mega trial programme. In addition, Firecrest Clinical, which was recently acquired by ICON, was shortlisted in the best technological development category for its mobile and web-based technologies.
The annual Scrip Awards acknowledge and applaud the pharmaceutical industry’s highest achievers across all parts of the value chain, and recognise both corporate and individual achievement. The awards are open to any research-based pharmaceutical or biotechnology company as well as third party companies that supply services to the pharmaceutical industry.
