The Korea Times and the U.S.-based weekly Science are reporting that a Korean husband-and-wife scientist team has had a breakthrough in adult stem cell research with the discovery of a gene in charge of differentiating the parent cells in human bodies. ``They’re reporting that they’ve found a gene that modulates all the factors in differentiating an adult stem cell,’' stated SmallCap Sentinel analyst, D.R. Clark. ``This is extremely significant, hence the ‘Holy Grail’ exuberance. Previously, only genes that modified some of the factors had been discovered. This could open significant doors.``It’s also interesting to note that this discovery was accomplished through a joint effort of M.I.T. and Harvard,’' added Clark. An informational report titled ``Looking at the Political Impact on Stem Cell Research’’ has been made available free of charge via financial courier StockUpTicks.com at http://www.SmallCapSentinel.com.
