TORONTO, June 8 /CNW/ - Hemosol Corp. (TSX: HML) today announced that the
Superior Court of Justice of Ontario (the "Court") approved the plan
sponsorship agreement (the "Agreement") entered into between
PricewaterhouseCoopers Inc., in its capacity as interim receiver of the
assets, property and undertaking of Hemosol Corp. and its affiliate Hemosol LP
(together "Hemosol") and the party (the "Plan Sponsor") that had expressed an
interest in acquiring all of Hemosol's business and with whom the Receiver had
been engaged in discussions over the past weeks.
