(OTCBB: HXBM), a developer of bioactive peptides, today announced the United States Patent and Trademark Office has allowed multiple claims in one of the company’s recent patent applications. US patent application 12/005653, “Short Bioactive Peptides for Cellular and Immunological Modulation,” covers a number of peptides including Heptapeptide-7, a SmartPeptides™ technology and lead component in the Striking™ Skin Care line. The patent is expected to issue shortly.
