GlaxoSmithKline Has No Plans To Close Sydney Factory Despite Outsourcing Of Jobs

GlaxoSmithKline has no plans to outsource jobs but others are hiring right now! Check it out! (Isn’t it tempting?)

A senior executive of pharmaceutical group GSK Australia said high labour costs that led to the outsourcing of about 150 Victorian manufacturing jobs were unlikely to affect workers making Panadol at its Sydney factory. Vincent Cotard, general manager of consumer healthcare Australia, said although all GSK manufacturing facilities were continually compared with operations in other countries, the company’s factory in Ermington was a centre of excellence. “We continue to invest in our factory,” he said. “Panadol is an icon. I expect this factory to continue to grow.”

Don’t forget, hundreds of biopharma companies are hiring! (We know you can’t resist.)
