MELBOURNE, Australia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 29, 2005--Genetic Technologies Limited (“GTG”) (NASDAQ:GENE) (ASX:GTG) announced that Mr. Henry Bosch AO was duly elected Independent Chairman of GTG at a recent Board meeting. Mr. Bosch had joined the Board of GTG on June 24, 2005 and was then formally re-elected as a Director by shareholders at the Annual General Meeting on November 23, 2005. Dr. Mervyn Jacobson, a founder of the Company who had previously held the position of Executive Chairman, will assume the title of Chief Executive Officer.
