December 4, 2008—San Diego, CA – Eurogentec S.A., an established European supplier of custom-synthesized oligonucleotides and peptides, specialty reagents and custom services to the life science markets, announces the addition of a new General Manager, Diane Wolfe, to head its North American operations, Eurogentec NA (EGT NA), based in San Diego.
“As a key component of Eurogentec’s strategy to establish a significant presence in the rapidly growing North American research and molecular diagnostics markets, we were challenged to identify someone possessing a unique combination of specific technical skills coupled with senior management experience to oversee our expansion,” says CEO Jean-Pierre Delwart. Ms. Wolfe clearly has the requisite technical background and brings over 19 years of molecular diagnostic industry experience to her new role as GM of Eurogentec NA.
Former Vice President of Manufacturing for Applied Biosystems’ spin-off company Celera (Alameda, CA), Ms. Wolfe has solid supply chain management and GMP manufacturing experience. Combined with the extensive technical knowledge she gained during the 12 years at Roche Molecular Systems (Branchburg, NJ) where she became Senior Director of Oligonucleotide Technology, Ms. Wolfe is uniquely qualified to oversee Eurogentec’s expansion.
