EU May Miss Boat on Stem Cells: Biotech Industry

LONDON (Reuters) - Europe may miss the boat on promising new stem cell and other advanced therapies unless a deadlock over regulation is broken, leaders of the biotech industry said on Tuesday.Informal talks between the European Parliament, Council and Commission over a centralized process for approving new tissue and cell engineering therapies were terminated two weeks ago by lead negotiator Miroslav Mikolasik of Slovakia.>>> Discuss This Story
