WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Industrial biotechnology can make significant contributions to worldwide economic growth through innovative applications for sustainable biofuels and biobased products. The Biotechnology Industry Organization announced today that U.S. Department of Energy Assistant Secretary for Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Cathy Zoi will address the afternoon plenary session on Monday June 28 at the 2010 World Congress on Industrial Biotechnology and BioProcessing. The event will take place June 27-30 at the Gaylord National Resort and Conference Center in Washington, D.C.
