Distribution Of Tasker Products’s Unifresh(R) Footbath Grows To National Coverage

DANBURY, Conn., March 24 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Tasker Capital Corp. , a distributor and marketer of a proprietary technology that is highly effective in inhibiting pathogenic bacteria, today announced that distribution of its Unifresh(R) Footbath has resumed its expansion with an enhanced formula. In addition to expanding the product's marketing in WALCO International's centers and securing Super Formula as a distributor in the Northeast, another national animal healthcare distributor, Lextron, Inc., joined the team, further advancing Tasker's Unifresh Footbath's nationwide marketing campaign.

Lextron, Inc., headquartered in Greeley, Colorado, is a major marketer and distributor of animal health products, serving the animal farming industry for 33-years. Lextron presently markets its products throughout the US from 46 distribution locations. WALCO International, a leading provider of animal health products and services with over 60 distribution centers in 23 states, provides its customers with a professional and highly trained sales force that assists its customers in determining which products best suits their needs. WALCO has added several distribution centers to its growing list of centers marketing the Unifresh(R) Footbath. Super Formula Products, Inc., a dairy farm product distributor founded in 1972 and headquartered in Watertown, NY, serves the Northeast section of the US.

Unifresh Footbath concentrate is a grooming aid that helps clean and disinfect the hooves of dairy cows. Because of the bacteriostatic properties of the pHarlo technology contained in Unifresh(R) Footbath concentrate, the product also helps control bacteria that infects the hooves of cows causing digital dermatitis and interdigital papillomatosis. This highly contagious disease can render cows lame and have a significant negative effect on milk yield.

Tasker recently enhanced its Unifresh Footbath product formula with the addition of a compound that neutralizes alkali. The improved product was successfully tested at distributors and customers' farms. Tasker is continuing to improve its product and expects that more product enhancements will be forthcoming. "The roll-out of Unifresh Footbath with its enhanced formula is gaining momentum and interest in the product is reviving. Over the last several weeks, we reviewed Tasker's sales and marketing strategy for the product and remodeled its distribution program to promote a more coordinated endeavor in an effort to improve its effectiveness," said Richard Falcone, Tasker's president and CEO. "We are reinforcing the marketing effort by meeting with some of the nation's largest dairy farms to demonstrate Unifresh Footbath's efficacy and are developing distribution channels to accelerate market penetration. Based on recent progress, we believe the company has the right strategy to forward the product's success."

According to a paper from the University of California (Davis), the disease can cause widespread severe lameness, decreased milk yield, body weight loss, decreased fertility and increased veterinary expenses and they believe that up to 30% of cows in dry-lot herds and up to 90% of cows in freestall herds may be affected.
