SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--diaDexus, Inc., today announced the publication of a study showing that lipoprotein-associated phospholipase A2 (Lp-PLA2), a cardiovascular-specific inflammatory enzyme associated with unstable plaque, is a strong predictor of recurrent stroke. The report, based on the Northern Manhattan Stroke Study, appears in the Oct. 23, 2006, issue of Archives of Internal Medicine.
